Story -
When a police officer mysteriously disappears, the local police force launches a painstaking investigation led by two officers. As they dig deeper, they uncover a web of personal conflicts, hidden motives, and unsettling truths within the community. The investigation is marked by realistic procedural details and emotional stakes, with each character holding their own secrets. The climax reveals a surprising yet subtle twist, as the culprit’s identity is confirmed through subtle visual cues rather than a dramatic confrontation, leaving both the police and viewers to reflect on justice, guilt, and the complexities of human nature. This show is written by Bahul Ramesh, the same person who wrote critically acclaimed movie Kishkindha Kaandam
My Take -
Season 2 is a huge step up from season 1 with improved storyline, acting, music, cinematography, and overall execution. The series excels as a procedural drama, focusing on the methodical investigation into the disappearance of a police officer, offering a refreshing and realistic take on police work
The best part for me was the emotional and psychological depth of the climax. The quiet smile exchanged between officer and culprit to hint at culprit’s guilt and emotional connection to the crime was a delight to watch
Indrans, Harisree Ashokan, and the ensemble cast deliver standout performances, with even supporting characters receiving nuanced development and grey shades
The narrative is tightly woven with multiple interconnected storylines and clever cliffhangers at the end of each episode, keeping us hooked and eager for more
The use of real-world tools and grounded details make the investigation feel authentic and relatable
Watch it or not?
The series offers a realistic procedural investigation, layered characters, and a subtly powerful climax that leaves room for interpretation. If you enjoy emotional realism in storytelling, this show is for you.
